Description: The Forest Preserve Boundaries feature class should be used to identify the boundaries of each preserve. The attributes povide basic information (official total acreage, year of first acquisition, etc.) for each preserve.Each line item in the Attribute Table identifies a Preserve. Distinctions between fee simple, easement and lease/license interests are not shown. The District now consists of 65 (not 66) sites, including traditional Preserves, three golf courses, the General Offices, stormwater facilities, and the Community Garden. Includes the Preserve Code (a combination of the abbreviation and Preserve Number) in a column labeled "Prsrv_Code."
